Introducing “Saltwater Taffy”… a bright and colourful addition to my doodle cushion catalogue.
I wasn’t sure what weaving direction I would take when I first doodle crocheted the creamy white and yellow sides to this cushion base. But when I opened my bins of yarn, the multiple shades of pinks and yellows jumped out at me. Once I got started weaving in the multicoloured blanket yarn, I immediately envisioned saltwater taffy! After that all the different shades and textures of yarn flowed off my needle.
I spent a thoroughly enjoyable 47 hours over 15 days, doodling along with my crochet hook and weaving needle to create this custom designed cushion. 😊
I treat my crochet hooks and weaving needles like a pen in my hand. Each cushion is an original work of art. The designs are different on each side of this reversible, stuffed, designer pillow.
This cushion measures approx 15”x14”x5”.
Care: hand wash in cold water and air dry
Crocheted and woven with polyester yarns and stuffed with a polyester fill pillow insert.
